JJ: Welcome to Inside the Porn Brandi, it and absolute pleasure. I'm blown away by you instantly. You look amazing.
How did you get into the industry?
Brandi: I actually started close to ten years ago with wrestling videos and "muscle oriented" webcam. I saw a great niche for myself with a newer genre of fitness oriented porn and decided to start producing my own hardcore and fetish content.
JJ: Muscle oriented porn is coming through more and more and you are a spectacular example of just how sexy it is.
What is the best thing about the industry?
Brandi: I am probably going to be bias on anything pertaining to "mainstream" because I have and am independent. I honestly do not shoot for mainstream companies so I don't really know what is good about the industry. I know for my niche and being independent, the best thing is I can film what I want and don't have to stick to the same cliche content. I can be as creative as I want to be, good or bad.
JJ: That's always a perk being able to create what you want how you want.
What's the worst thing about the industry?
Brandi: From just things I have been told, again, these aren't my personal experiences, the industry is very political! I overall believe it is sad how the shelf life of porn stars and entertainers is much shorter then perhaps 10-15 years ago. I know piracy is a bitch which hinders a lot; however, mediums like webcam do allow women to generate an income hence they aren't hired for mainstream or hardcore work.
JJ: I think the industry is an ever changing beast and luckily there are so many ways to make money now.
What's the funniest thing to happen to you whilst working?
Brandi: I really can't think of anything that has happened that has ever been just mind blowing funny. The usual stuff, donkeys in the desert when your out filming. What I find fun is working with people who aren't full of themselves and don't take themselves too seriously. I like working with creative minds and my great friend and producer and I always have a fun and good time because we can bounce ideas off of one another.
JJ: Working with someone that can inspire you to create is something special and what you create I have to say is amazing.
What are you doing work wise at the moment?
Brandi: I produce and manage my two online sites and clips4sale store; I also provide one on one Muscle Worship and Fantasy Wrestling entertainment in Las Vegas. I provide Skype Shows and sit on webcam as well.
JJ: That's amazing. Where can people find you online?
Brandi: I am all over the place but check these links out:
JJ: I have to recommend people to go check out those links. If you haven't thought muscles are your thing I guarantee Brandi will change your mind!!
What's the best thing about sex?
Brandi: The best thing about stimulation (as opposed to just sex) is the first off release itself which tends to be a huge stress reliever. I personally enjoy being open, non-inhibited and free to express myself both on and offline. When you dabble in fetish and things unorthodox, it is fun to see what might get you aroused and what might not. I believe it is just a different facet to learning about yourself. It can also open a door to something perhaps you might not want to know but self-control and balance in life is the essential key to being a balanced and normal individual.
JJ: That's very true. I think if you can be open sexually you'll encounter so much more about yourself that you didn't know.
What really turns you on?
Brandi: Again, being I dabble into many fetishes and taboo notions, I might go through phases of things that turn me on. A huge consistent for me is role play; it is creative, fun, adventurous and can be exhilarating as long as you are open and don't take yourself of anyone else too serious or literal..it is fantasy to break the monotony.
JJ: Role play is always a great thing. Something I've enjoyed over the years and a massive turn on.
My favourite question now, what's your favourite film?
Brandi: I would have to say one of the old school classics of Dirty Dancing, just the typical love story with sexy Patrick Swayze (RIP) encompassing a young woman becoming a grown women. The cliche good girl falling in love with the bad boy!
JJ: Well I have to say Dirty Dancing is a guilty pleasure of mine. Not many people know that haha.
Where do you like to go on holiday?
Brandi: Being I am from Dallas, Texas originally, anytime I am able to visit my family in Texas is a favorite for me. I can go back home and still run into people I went to High School with; it is great to see old friends, their children and naturally my own family.
JJ: Visiting home can always be a great holiday. It's like a holiday for the soul.
Tell me one thing about yourself I wouldn't know just by looking at you?
Brandi: I believe people would presume that I am much more glamorous or high maintenance than I actually am. I believe my real self and my persona though are so closely intersected, my real self is a very humble, down to earth women who had a rough up bringing. I have experienced many things in life that would shock people...I am working on a memoir!
JJ: Wow, I bet that memoir is going to be an amazing read. I'll look forward to reviewing it for the website.
What's been your biggest achievement in life or work?
Brandi: My overall objective as a women is to show the world that a female can be both strong (mentally and physically), sexy, desirable, muscular, athletic and yet still appealing to the overall masses. To prove that a muscular women doesn't have to just appeal to a small niche of Female Bodybuilding Fans. To perhaps turn someone onto liking and appreciating a women with dense muscle and perhaps not knew they would ever find it attractive. I have been on HBO's Real Sports w/ Bryant Gumbel, a few documentaries on bodybuilding and Kate Couric's old daytime show. I definitely aspire to perhaps do more mainstream (non adult) work or projects but the entertainment world is still a bit one track and one note minded pertaining to women and their roles. I believe progress is being made but toss the adult realm on top of that and mainstream entertainment (though it is hypocritical) still look down on women like me. I have talked to many production companies over the years about sooo many projects and nothing ever pans out either due to the bodybuilding or the porn work...I still don't miss a beat!
JJ: Well it's their loss of they don't use you as you've got many strings to your bow. The mainstream media should be more open to the porn world.
What's been the biggest thing you've had to overcome?
Brandi: The most challenging things I deal with are myself and my patience with people! It is a total contradiction because I appreciate the "fans" or people that appreciate me; however, being a female and being an independent producer, I am hit continuously with men who always want to tell me what and how I need to be doing things. I am much better with understanding now as I have grown as an individual but even now I get frustrated because I would like to do some mainstream adult movie work (not gonzo) but actual movie work with lines and creativeness; however, many top companies don't believe there is a large enough market for a women like me! (Eye Roll)
JJ: I think seein women like you on the mainstream adult world would be a great move forward as I think you have a lot of sexiness and naughtiness to offer.
What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?
Brandi: What I appreciate the most are the many drawings, sketches, and artwork that I receive whether online or via snail mail. I have two very large charcoal sketches that someone drew a few years back in which are amazing. He mentioned it took him nearly a year to draw both. I have had them framed and what not to preserve them; they are incredible.
JJ: I hope he is reading this and sees just how much you appreciate his hard work. Your fans obviously love you greatly.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone getting into the industry?
Brandi: Basically what a lot of people have already figured out, it is easier to find a niche for yourself and branch out. I believe thinking outside the box and being creative is important. I don't believe just being a pretty face sucking a dick is all that important any longer. Try to do things yourself and don't allow yourself to be exploited. Definitely don't shoot porn to find your own self confidence and self worth as you will be disappointed.
JJ: That's good advice and I think a lot of people would benefit by following it.
What do you think you'll do once you leave the industry?
Brandi: I had worked in an office before and was a loan officer in my early twenties; I personally have no desire to do anything else. I will be the Muscle GILF still flexing and showing off my old, wrinkled, over sized clit!
JJ: Well I'm certainly glad we'll be seeing those sexy muscles around for a long time to come.
Finally, what's the weirdest rumour you've heard about yourself?
Brandi: I don't pay attention to negativity; I don't really believe people say rumors about me. I have heard it all from being gross because of my muscularity to myself being a man because of my over sized clit. I literally don't care!
JJ: I think people like to talk shit about things they aren't used to seeing. I think you're someone who shows muscles can be very sexy.
Thank you so much for being with me today. It's been an absolute pleasure. You're as lovely as you are sexy and I look forward to seeing more of your work this year.
