Today I'm interviewing a woman who went from working as an escort to writing successful guides to escorting. She's giving back to an industry and she's here today to talk about that. Welcome Lydia Dupra from The Complete Guide to Escorting.
JJ: It's a pleasure to have you with us. I've been looking forward to this all week.
JJ: Tell me what exactly do you do?
Lydia: I own www.thecompleteguidetoescorting.com, the only website in the world that provides one stop shopping for escorts. I myself am a retired escort turned mentor and author. I wrote the popular ebook series The Complete Guide to Escorting. The website is also a clothing store that provides the best outfits and accessories designed for function and style. The whole point of the site is to take out all of the hard parts of being an escort. When you the leave the site you'll know how to get the right clients, protect your physical and legal safety and have the wardrobe of a true high class escort.
JJ: That sounds like something that people in the industry can really benefit from.
Lydia: Well originally MONEY but after I retired I wanted to return to help escorts thrive in this industry.
JJ: Giving back to the industry is something that cannot be overlooked. It's the only way to ensure good practices can be passed on.
What's the best thing about the escorting industry?
Lydia: That escorts have the power to make more money in a day then some people see in a month.
JJ: It can give people opportunities in life that they may not have had before and that's certainly a great thing.
What's the worst thing about the industry?
Lydia: The danger of police, pimps and possibly physical harm from clients. Even when girls get hooked on drugs is as sad as it is common.
JJ: There's a lot of dangers out there. The annoyance to me is if we had more support from governments the industry couple be a lot safer.
What's the funniest thing to happen whilst working?
Lydia: A girl read my first book because she wanted to become an escort, when she was done reading it she didnt want to become an escort anymore.
JJ: Haha maybe not the result you'd want to happen but it's great that people are informing themselves about the industry beforehand.
What are you up to work wise at the moment?
Lydia: Im working on my new company Pippix, I am one of the founding members and brand ambassador for it. We are a new dating app that enhances safety for women and provides the ultimate privacy for its users.
JJ: Sounds like you're working on some very exciting things moving forward. I'm excited to see the progress you make.

What's the best thing about sex?
Lydia: Well I'll speak on behalf of escorts everywhere on this one, the money baby!
JJ: Tell me one thing about yourself that people would never know by looking at you?
Well no one can see me lol, I always pixalate my face for my former clients privacy. Its pretty cool because my work speaks for itself and that I no longer need to rely on my image to make money.
JJ: I think the ability to make your living without relying on your looks is a great thing for you.
What's been your biggest achievement in life or work?
Lydia: I suppose my own retirement from escorting and all of the businesses I started, also recovering from drug addiction is pretty massive.
JJ: Those are massive things to have achieved in your life and it's great to see you thriving.
What's the most challenging thing you've overcome?
Lydia: With writing the books, the hardest part was getting the confidence to start writing. I kept going because I thought if I could help even on girl get through this industry safely it would be worth it. And it just snowballed from there into this empire!
JJ: Sometimes the smallest things can become the biggest. You have found something that works and improves people's lives.
What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?
Lydia: Succeed. I have girls write me everyday telling me how much the books have helped them double triple and even quadruple their money! Im blown away at their ambition and desire to learn and achieve. They are absolute superstars.
JJ: Women are getting more and more driven and business minded and it's an improvement to everyone in the industry.
What's one bit of advice for anyone wanting to get into the adult industry?
Lydia: Read The Complete Guide to Escorting ebook series first!
JJ: Haha I'm not sure what other answer I was expecting other than that haha
What do you think you'll do if you leave the industry completely?
Lydia: Well...as an escort Im long gone. But I'm here to stay as an author and mentor.
JJ: Well as an author and mentor it's great to hear you're sticking around as you have a lot to offer.
Finally, What's the weirdest rumour you've heard about yourself?
Lydia: That a married my sugar daddy. I'm with my Daddy alright but he is my equal. I could never fall in love with someone who was just paying me to be there.
JJ: There's always someone who is willing to make assumptions then talk about them to other people. It's always the downside to life not just the industry.
