JJ: Welcome to Inside the Porn. It's an honour to get to interview You now you've returned to the industry.
Tell me how did you get into the industry?
Brooke: I got into the adult industry when I was19 years old, and I had just moved west to LA from Gainesville. I wanted to move out of my parent’s house and become my own person, but I knew I was not going to use the route they expected, which was college. I love going down different paths, changing things up, and being spontaneous. I don’t want to go through life doing just one thing. If there is only one life to live, then I want the ability to fill a storybook for future generations of girls like me.
JJ: That's a great view to have on how to live your life. Make the most of everything and try everything as like you said you only get one life.
What's the best thing about the industry?
Brooke: One of the greatest things for me about the adult industry has been the amount of growth it has caused me to go through over the years. The girl I was when I was starting out at 19 versus the girl I am now reentering the business at 32 years of age is filled with more confidence. It takes an incredible amount of strength to stand proud doing something you enjoy which others can’t accept as appropriate. This industry has taught me humility and shown me just how strong I am.
JJ: If the industry can do that for a person then it's a very positive thing. It's great to see you took so much from it and loved it so much to come back to it.
What's the worst thing about the industry?
Brooke: For me personally, the worst thing about the industry is the lack of ability some people have to accept women working in a sexual business. As a society, we slut shame and label women who choose to use their bodies in their work.
JJ: I think if people took the time to really learn about the industry they'd see that it's not what people portray. It's a close knit community that spans the globe and a lot of hard working and amazing people are in this industry.
What's the funniest thing to happen to you whilst working?
Brooke: Well, where do I start? Over the years I have had so many good times on and off sets with other actresses and actors, as well as crew.The late nights and travel for shoots are so fun when I had friends on set.
JJ: Having friends in the industry always makes the work a lot more fun for sure .
What are you doing now work wise?
Brooke: Right now, I am on summer break from college, and am currently making my return to the adult business. I’m shooting my first scene this coming week! I have been shooting content for my new website, and cannot wait to share it with everyone. I know my fans have been patiently waiting for my return.

What's the best thing about sex?
Brooke: The best thing about sex cannot be answered on one page for me. There are so many beautiful things about sex. It all depends on what I want from it, and why I am having it in that specific moment. For example, when I can’t sleep, I use masturbation to help fight the insomnia.
JJ: I think we all love a little bit of masturbation to help us sleep if we are honest haha.
What really turns you on?
Brooke: A turn on for me is someone who knows who they are. Honesty and personality are major for me. I see swagger before I see looks, that is for sure.
JJ: Seeing someone confident with who they are is one of the most attractive qualities and gets my attention instantly.
What's your favourite film?
Brooke: I don’t know if I have a favorite film. I tend not to re-watch movies if it is my choice.
JJ: Where do you like to go on holiday?
Brooke: My favorite holiday destination… Well, I always love to go home to Florida. Miami is a must for me every year too. I love Rome and traveling outside of the country. I love beaches too! I grew up in the salt water.
JJ: I love Miami, the atmosphere there is always electric. Rome I'm not a massive fan of. I love the history and the culture and the food, but I just felt a little on edge there.
Tell me one thing about yourself that I wouldn't know just by looking at you?
Brooke: Something about myself most people don’t know is I’m scared of spiders. When I was in grade school I was taking care of a neighbour’s cat one weekend, and while in the yard to feed the said cat, I walked through some trees and a enormous banana spider landed in the back of my hair. The spider was the size of my palm. My friend who was with me screamed and threw a stick at my head. Luckily for me, her method worked. As for my hair, it was to my chin when I arrived at school the next day. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. I am to this day still scared of spiders.
JJ: I've never liked spiders. Never been a fan of the way they move. Always freaked me out.
What's been your biggest achievement in life or work?
Brooke: My biggest achievement in life would be having my daughter and breastfeeding her for a year. She is simply incredible. As for work, the ability to walk away from a business and money to live a much simpler life, as well as taking time to go to college and get my BA. I now am prepping for graduate school later this year, and never in my wildest dreams did I expect to ever hear myself say that.
JJ: They are some amazing achievements you have and I'm sure you've got many many more in the future too.
What's been the biggest thing you've had to overcome?
Brooke: The most challenging thing I have had to learn to make peace with and overcome is not everyone is going to like you, and not everyone has to like you, which is ok too.
JJ: I think if you can make peace with that early on in life it makes it easier to focus on your ambitions.
What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?
Brooke: I am not sure what the best thing one fan has ever done; there have been so many thoughtful gifts. I do enjoy the fans of the business. I hope to truly connect with them this time; I was very closed off to the idea of having fans the first time around.
JJ: I think you fans will enjoy being to interact with you. You're a very approachable and easy to talk to woman.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone getting into the industry?
Brooke: The best advice I could give someone who wants to enter into the industry is to not to get caught up with what everyone else thinks of you. Be proud of who you are, and make sure to be your authentic self.
JJ: If everyone followed that advice the industry would be uncontrollably successful.
What do you think you'll do after you leave the industry?
Brooke: I am just returning to the industry after a five year break. I left to pursue college and to make a conscious choice to breed. I am so excited to be returning to the industry, and to be able to explore my sexual boundaries this time around. I am at such a different place in my life,and with myself that I am really excited to see just what I’ll conquer. I hope the fans enjoy my comeback too!
JJ: Well I'm glad you're back and I know people will look forward to seeing the new and improved you!!
Finally, what's the weirdest rumour you've heard about yourself?
Brooke: I’m not sure of one particular rumour. Everyone has heard a rumour about his or her self in a work environment. I try not to pay attention to it and just treat everyone kindly.
JJ: That's the best way to be and the best way to be happy and successful.
