JJ: Hi Jessie. It's amazing to have you with me today. I love the Australians they are always so welcoming.
How did you get into the industry?
Jessie: When i was a teenager i was very passionate about performance. Singing, dancing (hip hop and jazz), acting and I trained professionally. The feeling I had when I was on stage acting or dancing was my natural high, a very special feeling that fulfilled me.
When I was 17 I started thinking about exotic dancing. I liked dancing, costumes and was coming up to the age where the thought of going to night clubs was really exciting so I started to look into it.
Once I was of legal age I took up stripping and worked as a dancer for about 5 years. It was something I really enjoyed, I was in my element of performing and dressed up in cute, sexy costumes, it was a lot of fun and I met some girls that i'm still friends with.
JJ: I always find if you're a natural performer and you have an interest in pleasing people then you'll be a success in the industry.
What's the best thing about the industry?
Jessie: I think the best thing about the sex industry is that it's so accepting. It's so vast and it's something that everyone can part take in, in one way or another.
Majority of people are very open minded. Most of the girls are so loving and compassionate towards each other. I know there's support for me if I ever needed (and there's definitely been times when I've needed it), and I am always here for other girls. I've never really found such a tight knit community of girls out side the industry. Perhaps it's because we all have sex with each other or watch each other have sex haha i'm not sure why it is but it's special.
I've met such a wide variety of people, it's amazing really!
We are just a bunch of regular guys and girls from all walks of life that are doing a job. Odds are that someone in your life that you care for has dabbled in the adult industry at some point.

JJ: I have to agree with you. The adult industry has been one of the most accepting industries I've worked in.
What's been the worst thing about the industry?
Jessie: Worst thing by far is the stigma. I hate that I can't be honest and open with people. I'm a very honest person, I hate having to lie to people. It seems the worlds favorite question is asking what you do for work. Perhaps it's so they can place you into a little category in their mind.
I must say though, there has been a lot of changes. When I started exotic dancing it was a much more taboo career choice than it is today. I'm not sure what changed this perception, celebrity culture I suspect, so I do think we are moving towards a world where there will be less stigma and shock factor related to the adult industry. We are just a bunch of regular guys and girls from all walks of life that are doing a job. Odds are that someone in your life that you care for has dabbled in the adult industry at some point.
JJ: well the sigma hopefully will lessen in time. This blog was aimed at showing the world that people in the industry are normal people who happen to work on the sex industry.
What's the funniest thing to happen to you whilst working?
Jessie: This isn't funny, it's embarrassing. My cousin came into the club I was working at when I was dancing. My cousin was in his mid 20's with all his friends and I was on stage. I wanted to melt into the floor. It was horrible!!!!!!!!!!! He came up to me at one point and discreetly said "don't worry, just do your thing." We don't really talk very often, but for years afterwards, in the middle of the night i'd get a text asking how I was, where I was working these days, he was trying to suss out if he was safe to walk into a strip club without seeing my booty.
JJ: That must have been the most awkward thing ever. I do love he was trying to make sure he didn't go to a club you worked in again though haha.
What are you doing work wise at the moment?
Jessie: At the moment I am working as a touring companion. I am based in Melbourne but I am travelling to all the main Australian cities, with the possibility of touring internationally. I've had a lot of fun and connected with some amazing men.
JJ: Well I hope the UK will be on your international tour as I certainly owe you a drink for making the time for the interview as I know how busy you are.
Where can people find you online?
Jessie: I have just had my third photo shoot and had a video made, as soon as I receive the results i'm going to create a personal website. Until then i'm on twitter daily with pictures, updates and announcements on twitter https://twitter.com/JessieMelb
on instagram https://www.instagram.com/jessieleemelb/?hl=enand links to my advertising can be found on my twitter account.
JJ: Guys the best thing in the world you could do would be to make sure you're following this gorgeous minx. You won't regret it.
What's the best thing about sex?
Jessie: This is a hard question as there's so many amazing things about sex and things that i enjoy!!!!
If I had to narrow it down to two it would be being teased and really intense orgasms!I also really enjoy seeing and hearing a man enjoy what i'm doing to him.
JJ: what really turns you on?
Jessie: I find being slowly kissed and touched all over my body heightens all my senses.
In my personal life when I meet someone the courting phase drives me crazy. The flirting, getting to know someone, basically having sex with each others minds before anything happens physically - drives me crazy in ways I won't explain, it's like a massively extended foreplay in my opinion. It really creates a build up of tension for me that I can't quite handle!!JJ: Mental stimulation is a big thing for me. If you can get my mind flustered then my body will follow. I am always seduced by women with a keen mind.
The best question in my opinion, what's your favourite film?
Jessie: I'm a little gruesome, i like horror movies and psychological thrillers. Saw comes to mind, it's been a while since i've watched a Saw movie. As the series went on the quality of the story declined as usual. I like experiences and movies that provoke an emotional response in me.
I just found the first saw movie so shocking and I loved the twist. If a movie has made me feel scared then it has done a good job!!! I also enjoy movies that are based on true stories and documentaries.
JJ: Right, now I insist the UK is on your international tour as we definitely need a horror film night as I'm a big horror fan!!
Where's your favourite place to go on holiday?
Jessie: Hawaii - 100%. I went for 15 days with a female friend in 2012 and I had a really good time, I enjoyed my time in Hawaii and would love to return. I've also traveled through America and Asia but Hawaii takes the cake.
JJ: I really want to go to Hawaii. It always looks amazing when I see it on anything.
Tell me one thing about yourself that people wouldn't know just by looking at you?
Jessie: I'm really a giant geek! I study biological science and I love chemistry, physics, i I like to read and learn. I have found that because of my hair color and breast size people assume that i'm dumb, I find this incredibly difficult to deal with and find myself feeling like I need to prove myself. I also have a very animated, bubbly personality and I think I just don't fit into the typical perception of intelligent. I'm not going to sugar coat it, it annoys me and it hurts me.
JJ: The days of making assumptions about people's intelligence based on looks should be long gone. Some of the most intelligent people I've the pleasure of knowing are also some of the sexiest. You certainly know the second you start talking that you have intelligence in abundance. Maybe people should take more time to talk and not just want naked pics or sending dick pics.
What's been your biggest achievement in life or work?
Jessie: Managing to work, study and have a personal life. It's actually really difficult to maintain balance, often something always suffers and it's an on going struggle. It's important that exercise, sleep and general health aren't pushed to the bottom of the priority list.
JJ: I'm always impressed with people who can manage their lives so well. I struggle to maintain a balance massively but it's led to me making some amazing friends so I can't complain.
What's been the most challenging thing you've had to overcome?
Jessie: I've become fully independent and self reliant as a woman. You would need to know me on a personal level but i'll just say that this is a big achievement for me. I've become very strong and I have stressful times, sometimes very very stressful and I may have had no one to turn to at times and it's made me strong. I know I can rely on myself and i'd like to have a long term relationship one day but I never want to lose my the feeling of being able to hold my own.
I had a 7 year relationship that started when I was young, ended when I was young and all of my young adulthood was with him and I wasn't independent at all. When this relationship ended I really had to find myself and look after myself, it was as though I was in my mid twenties but with the knowledge of a teenager because he did so many things for me. It was a huge life upheaval. JJ: That's a massive achievement to become self reliant and an even bigger achievement to recognise that you had to do it, many people never ever get to that stage. I'm very impressed by everything about you.
What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?
Jessie: I think it's the little things. Just feeling appreciated and having someone let you know that you have really made them happy or helped them through a tough time.
Gestures like gifts, thanks, flowers, tips, it's not the monetary value, it's the message behind it shows someone really appreciates what you and what you have done for them, you have touched them on another level. If I receive a service of any kind, I can always pick the people that go above and beyond for me and they really stand out and i'm always appreciative.

JJ: It comes across just how appreciative you are and your fans are certainly people who appreciate you a person which is great to see.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone getting into the industry?
Jessie: Think about it clearly, make a plan, think again. Re-evaluate this plan regularly. Once you have made your decision go for it, have fun, stay safe and be smart. It's an experience that you can look back on and be wowed by and proud of but under the wrong influences of people or substances it can be quite dark. The adult industry isn't for everyone, not everyone can do this, do what feels right for you and don't do it just for the money, that's not a good enough reason and you won't be successful if you don't have some passion and joy in what you do.
JJ: That's amazing advice to people. I hope it's considered and thought about before people get into the industry.
What do you think you'll do once you leave the industry?
Jessie: I'll work in science and health. I'm passionate about helping people and the human mind and body really interests me.
It's great to see you have a clear plan on what you want to do once you leave the industry.
Finally, what's the weirdest rumour you've heard about yourself?
Jessie: That I was having a relationship with my best female friend!!! We are very playful and silly together but we are just close friends.
JJ: I love how people always jump to conclusions without knowing the facts.
