JJ: Welcome to Inside the Porn. I'm glad we could find time to do this as I know you've got a big move to Vegas coming up.
What got you into the industry?
Sydney: Well I started as a photographer doing boudoir, fetish and pin-up style photography when someone asked if I'd get in front of their camera. I gave it a shot and found that I loved it!! I started off doing art nudes but eventually got offers for fetish photoshoots and videoshoots and decided "Why not!" After a few shoots, I started my own fetish clips4sale and haven't really looked back since!! It was about 4-5 years after I was doing just fetish stuff that I decided to start doing XXX. The first company I worked for was PlumperPass and have enjoyed working with several other companies since!
JJ: I love that you went from behind the camera to in front of it. You certainly deserve to be in front of it you're gorgeous.
What's the best thing about the industry?
Sydney: The community!!! Some of my closest and best friends have come from the industry and I'd be a lost mess if it weren't for them. My dedicated fans come next, as they're the ones who really make it so I'm able to make a living off my fetish and XXX work. They're amazing and I'm so lucky to have them!
JJ: The community is what keeps me going. There are so many amazing people I've had the pleasure of meeting and becoming great friends with.
What's the worst thing about the industry?
Sydney: There's a lot of unprofessional individuals within the industry, but that can be said about any job industry. I'd say I've been pretty lucky to not have a whole bunch of stories regarding the unprofessionalism within the fetish and porn industry.
JJ: Hopefully you will be able to stay away from the negative side of the business.
What's the funniest thing to happen to you whilst working?
Sydney: I could probably write a book on all the things. But the one that always comes to mind was one year at FetishCon, it was my first time working with a certain someone (Brat Princess Sarah Diavola) I'd admired from a far and her and I were doing this sexy foot fetish video where we made out and POV humiliated the viewer. So Sarah and I are making out, both of us with hang over coffee breath (it was early in the morning and FetishCon is a nonstop party), and suddenly one of our stomachs ROARED. I don't mean like a quiet roar, it was LOUD. So loud that we stopped kissing and just burst out laughing, leaving our camera lady super confused as to what had just happened that caused us to stop kissing.
JJ: Obviously Fetishcon sounds like my kind of place. That's just made my list of events to attend haha. I love that a growling stomach was loud enough to stop a shoot haha.
What are you doing work wise at the moment?
Sydney: I'm primarily focused on my fetish videos as usual, but I'm also working on my XXX website www.SydneyScreams.xxx which is where all my latest XXX scenes can be found! It's a mixture of amateur & professional quality content and I'm still gathering content for it as often as I can!
JJ: That's awesome, where else can people find you online?
Sydney: Twitter is where I'm most active @SydneyScreams4u. My website is www.SydneyScreams.com which is primarily a blog, but it also has info on custom clips, femdom sessions, and links to all my work.
JJ: I can highly recommend people go and check out the website and your Twitter account.
What's the best thing about sex?
Sydney: It's fun! Like if sex isn't fun, its probably not something I'm enjoying. When it is fun, it's also extremely pleasurable. I love the raw intensity and intimacy of sex.
JJ: What really turns you on?
Sydney: Oh my gosh. So many things. Public displays of intimacy is probably the biggest, because it's like an all day or afternoon long tease that leads to a lot of fun sex later!
JJ: I can totally appreciate that as a turn on. Nothing drives me more wild than being teased all day haha.
My favourite question now, what's your favourite film?
Sydney: Again, I have so many! Choosing one would be unfair to all the others.
JJ: Over the next days and months I'll be working on you to get an answer for that question haha.
Where do you like to go on holiday?
Sydney: I really enjoyed my time in Greece and Jamaica, but I have a bunch of other destinations I'd love to explore!
JJ: Ohhhh you'll have to tell me more about Jamaica later as I'm considering going there later this year.
Tell me one thing about yourself I wouldn't know just by looking at you?
Sydney: I'm really shy. I tend to be a quiet person and I prefer to listen rather than speak. I think there's so much more to learn by listening rather than talking (especially if it's something I don't know much about)
JJ: Listening is becoming a forgotten skill thanks to social media.
What's been your biggest achievement in life or work?
Sydney: Running my own business! It's a lot of fun (but a lot of work) and it's opened so many doors for me.
JJ: Working for yourself is a big risk and crazy amounts of work so you should be very proud of your achievement
What's been the biggest thing you've had to overcome?
Sydney: Dating. Gosh. Dating when you're in porn is difficult because people tend to objectify you the instant they find out that you're in porn or they want nothing to do with you. Finding someone who treats it like it's any other job is difficult, even though in some ways it isn't like any other job.
JJ: Come on guys. pull your fingers out. Sydney is an amazing woman and her job shouldn't factor into your reason for wanting to date her!!!
What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?
Sydney: The fans who have stood by me as I grow and develop in my career are amazing. They continue to purchase my videos, tell me when they find pirated content, and are just overall great people.
JJ: Sound alike your fans get really hands on with helping you which is amazing to see.
What's one bit of advice you'd give to someone getting into the industry?
Sydney: Do your homework. There aren't a lot of people willing to instantly help out newbies in this industry and it's because so many times people try to screw us over in one way or another, so having done your research before you approach someone with a specific question is hugely important. It shows us that you've done some looking into things but you just need clarification, which says "hey, I'm not trying to waste your time getting all the answers."
JJ: That's great advice. All bed girls should listen to this advice.
What's the weirdest rumour you've heard about yourself?
Sydney: Hmmm... I don't know!! A few months ago, someone told me that they heard Whitney Morgan and I were no longer friends and people shouldn't try to get us to shoot together, but she's been one of my best and closest friends in this industry for years soooooo... I guess rumors don't make it back to me often!!
JJ: Unfortunately the industry has so many people in it trying to be spread rumours and they have no concept of the damage rumours can have.
Finally, are you going to BBWcon and of so what are you looking forward to most?
Sydney: I'm not entirely sure. I'll be living in Vegas at the time and I'd really like to meet my fans and fellow models/producers, but it will just depend on how my move goes and if I'm doing any traveling at the time!
JJ: Well I'll keep my fingers crossed you make it. It would be great to see you there at the event.
Thank you so much for being amazing and taking the time for the interview. I look forward to even more of your work in the near future.
