What got you into the adult industry?
Ashton: I was fascinated by the adult industry in my late teens, but knew I never had the right moves to become an erotic dancer.
I dreamed of being in the adult industry, and I completely idolised escorts I saw on social media. I knew one day, that would be me.
I was lucky enough to meet other women in the industry that were willing to help me, and who heavily supported the beginning of my career.
JJ: I find that people in the industry are very helpful and are usually more than happy to offer advice and guidance.
What's the best thing about the industry?
Ashton: Meeting absolutely fascinating people everyday and discovering their sexuality. When you give someone the opportunity to give themselves to you, you can experience some insanely mind blowing sex.
I also have the freedom to work around my studies, friends and family commitments, and travel when I like on my own terms. It feels amazing to not answer to anyone! I also love being able to plan fun nights out and late sleep ins around my clients.
JJ: I think the complete freedom the work can give is a massive selling point. It's almost as important as the money.
What's the worst thing about the industry?
Ashton: The stigma attached to the industry. I'm a very honest person and hate to lie. I also want to protect my family, and I hate to see them receive backlash due to my chosen career path.
JJ: I think the stigma is the product of people's lack of understanding. Interviews like this I hope will go some way to changing people's negative perceptions.
What's the funniest thing to happen whilst working?
Ashton: Every escort has had some nightmares, and I think it shows that we're human. But I prefer to keep some things to myself.
JJ: What are you doing now work wise?
Ashton: Settling into my new home town, Melbourne! I'm in love even more with this city everyday when I wake up.
JJ: Well I've always heard great things about Melbourne. I'll just wait for you to invite me to visit haha.

JJ: What's the best thing about sex?

Ashton: It depends what setting you see me in. If you saw me on the street, you wouldn't guess I'd be an escort. I'd be wearing a mini vintage Levi's skirt with a band tee I picked up at a gig, drinking the house red in a rowdy bar. Part of the reason why I thoroughly enjoy escorting is that I have the opportunity to also display the other side of me - an always glamorous, perfectly polished lady. What's been your biggest achievement in life or work?
Ashton: Letting go of everything I know and taking the risk of quitting my 9-5 job to be an 'out' escort. It's the best thing that's ever happened to me and I've never been so happy.
JJ: If that's not inspiration for others to follow their dreams then I don't know what is.
What's the most challenging thing you've overcome?
Ashton: There's a reason I'm known to be so mature for a 21 year old, I've done it all. It's shaped me to be an emotionally mature woman. I'm very lucky to be in such an amazing position and very well loved.
JJ: What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?

What's one bit of advice for anyone wanting to get into the adult industry?
Ashton: Think long and hard like I did. It's life changing in all different ways. If you're completely independent like me, get used to answering a phone from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed. Don't over work yourself, and really think about the way you'd like to market yourself - it took me quite some time to really find what works for me.
JJ: That's awesome advice. The job is a lot more time consuming than people know.
What do you think you'll do if you leave the industry?
Ashton: I'll be finished my degree and I'll be a practicing clinical psychologist (hopefully I can still work in the industry too!)
JJ: I'm sure anything you put your mind to you can achieve. You're a driven, intelligent and ambitious woman and you'll achieve whatever you want to.
Finally, what's the weirdest rumour you've heard about yourself?
Ashton: I don't give attention to negativity and I won't for entertainment purposes. Good vibes all 'round!
JJ: Well being positive is always the best way to be. I don't engage in negativity either.
