JJ: Welcome Kristi. I'm very excited to have you with us on Inside the Porn.
So tell me what got you into the adult industry?
Kristi: Nothing really "got me in" the business. I had always had an interest in the adult biz for as long as I can remember. In 2011, I started off just camming then the rest is history!
JJ: Well obviously you like what you saw as you've stayed around when others leave after a short while.
What's the best thing about the industry?
Kristi: The best thing is working for myself. I am my own boss. I answer to no one but myself. I work on my own time
JJ: That's everyone's dream to be able to work for themselves
And what's been the worst thing about the industry?
Kristi: For me, it is lack of discipline lol. Since I work for myself, I have to be a lot more disciplined. I have been doing this for 4 years now and still struggle with it. Another thing is the stigma against the adult business. I hate that so much. I am not going to sugar coat and say I never had my own judgments but now that I am fully in this business, the stigmas are false. This industry is a "REAL" job. There is work. It is unconventional but this is still work.
JJ: I don't think people realise just how hard people work in the industry it's people working hard to give great content.
So what are you doing at the moment work wise?
Kristi: I run my own network of sites, Maxx Model Network, which also includes my own membership site, run a few clip stores, and I cam occasionally..

What's the best thing about sex?
Kristi: Orgasms lol. That is what we all want in the outcome of it right? lol mmmm yes.
JJ: Well who has ever complained about having an orgasm??
What's your favourite film?
Kristi: Ever? hmmmm, Training Day is up there so is Saving Private Ryan
JJ: ooooh two great films. Both have a place in my top 10 films ever.
What's your favourite holiday destination?
Kristi: Costa Rica, I actually lived there for the study abroad program so it was more for school vs a vacation. I absolutely loved it there. I cannot wait to go back to visit my family I stayed with.
JJ: Wow, I bet that was an amazing experience. I hear good things about Costa Rica.
What's your biggest achievement in life or work so far?
Kristi: I finally got my degree in Dec 2015. I'd say that is one of my biggest accomplishments so far since it has been a long, hard journey
JJ: Congratulations. I know how difficult and how much time goes into getting a degree.
What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?
Kristi: I have had so many fans do amazing things for me, it is hard to just pick one! I appreciate all they do!
JJ: It's always nice when fans show their appreciation.
I know you're a big wrestling fan, so are a lot of the readers of this blog so tell me who is your favourite wrestler?
Kristi: I have so many I could name that I absolutely love. Trish Stratus, HHH back in the day, The Rock back in the day, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, I want The Shield to reunite too haha.
JJ: Wrestling and adult industry aren't that far separated as Chyna, Sunny and Major Gunns have all done porn and many of the female wrestlers have done playboy.
What do you think you'll do when you leave the industry?
Kristi: When I leave the industry, it'll be because I am retiring and no longer working. The industry is my career. I have no intentions on leaving it anytime soon. People assume the industry is one of those things that will last temporarily. Well considering that life is temporary, I could agree lol. But for those who assume it only lasts a few years, not true, there are many of us that can make this a full career.
JJ: I agree completely. The adult industry is a full time and potentially lifelong career if you want it to be.
So tell me how do you handle your success? How do you keep your feet on the floor?
Kristi: I feel as I am just getting started. I have so much I want to accomplish. My job is not just in front of the camera. I like running my little empire from front to back.
JJ: If there was anything you could change about the industry what would it be?
Kristi: The politics of the biz. It will more than likely never go away but it's there. Being a women of colour and a BBW is hard. We face a lot of adversity. We have to work harder to succeed. I am hating on my fellow non ethnic sex workers, of course not! But I am well aware of how things are in this business being a black woman.
JJ: Well I'm sure people facing these issues head on will affect a change in the industry.
Finally you do many different things, photographer, webmaster, performer. What do you prefer doing?
Kristi: I love everything about this business. Majority of us have many titles as is. A lot of women I have worked with also producer their own content, edit, run their own stores/sites
JJ: So many women are amazing business women and talented at what they do it's inspiring in many ways.
